What killed DJ Theo

According to sources close to the deceased, Theophilus Davis, aka DJ Theo, was battling with illness over a period of time. Theo’s legs used to get swollen and his eyes used to get very yellow. That is a sign of what we call Yellow Jaundice or Hapetitis B. That is a liver failure condition. However, according to our sources, Theo’s immediate family members were kinda hiding the sickness from people. Theo also was not very comfortable making people know he had a liver failure condition. “Sometimes we would tell Theo, your legs too swollen. What’s happening? He would just say, “Ma, I’ve been standing one place too long, working”, our sources revealed.

This condition went on for a while. Theo was on and off with the illness. It got worst some time in February. That was when his family came to get him from the house on 11th Street to take him to the “sick bush”. He was there until the condition got worst and he was rushed back to Monrovia to seek medical help from the hospital. However, it was too late. DJ Theo passed not too long after he was hospitalised at the Catholic hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
